Long Dog Inc., Dog Training and Boarding Resort

The Long Dog Inn is a fabulous place for boarding and training. (*training both dog and human! ) Heather has helped us immensely with our reactive cattle dog pup. Maxine started with Heather when she was four months old, staying with her on two separate occasions each for a week. She has also stayed with Heather on weekends when we are out of town. Even when Maxine is just boarding and not officially training, I see positive changes in her when she gets home. Heather and Max developed and amazing bond, which I truly appreciate. Heather has helped me learn how to bring out the best in Maxine. And at one and a half now, Max always loves to go stay with Heather and her family. Highly recommend!

HIGHLY recommend Long Dog Inc for all of your boarding and training needs! Heather has helped my boyfriend and I with our dog, Kallie for the last 2 years. Kallie is a spoiled, particular, picky pooch that indeed has only child syndrome. She is and always has been picky with foods and some dog breeds, Heather has always found one way or another to feed Kallie, make her feel as relaxed as possible, and reads her cues better than I could ever express. Heather was the first person that we trusted with Kallie and still our go-to when we want a worry free vacation because Heather is literally a dog whisperer. I know when I leave our girl at her house, she is loved, safe, played with and cared for. I don’t even have to worry about possible emergencies because I’m convinced she’d be in better hands with Heather than us when it comes to doggy emergencies. She is a great communicator, sends updates, photos and videos. We moved about an hour away and will still go out of our way to bring Kallie to Heather for boarding or play! The knowledge Heather has about dogs, ALL breeds, is just amazing. She is constantly researching, learning, and teaching. Even when we tossed the idea around of getting a second dog, Heather was the first one we asked for advice. When we found a stray, we asked Heather for advice. I recommended her to a friend whom was having a difficult time with their rescue pup for board and train, Heather went above and beyond with them as well and relieved so much stress from their family. Heather’s kids and husband are also amazing with dogs, they do a wonderful job of making sure every doggy is taken care of! Long dog inc is the best care and training for your dog, hands down!

This is not like your regular boarding experience! Its more like a super special doggy camp where your dog has tons of love and attention. Meggy (my Aussie) is shy and doesn't enjoy being off her routine BUT she loves Long Dog "Inn". At Long Dog T&B its a family affair. One of the very sweet sons has a special kiness to Meggy. Meggy likes to hang out in his room while he plays his video games and snuggle. Heather is great about updating you while away from your dog with pictures, videos, and commentary usually humorous. One time when picking Meggy up to come home, her sweet son passed her off to me and said "I am going to miss your dog". Touched my heart and gives me 100 percent confidence in leaving my Meggy at Long Dog Inc, Training and Boarding.
