Magic's Legacy Herding

Shannon has a gift of seeing and working with the dog’s natural ability. She is fair and consistent in her way of training. She guided me and my border collie Pip to trialing in USBCH Pro-Novice trials and getting Pip’s AKC Herding Championship. Pip is very soft. Shannon was able to work with us to bring out the most of Pip’s talent. I am now training Rue. Rue is not soft. I am learning new lessons and I can see Rue development. I highly recommend Shannon as an instructor.

I've been taking lessons from Shannon for several years now and I am so glad that I chose her. I've learned a great deal about working stock with my dogs, rain or shine, or snow. Stock dogs work, no matter the weather. Shannon's stock (sheep and ducks) are well cared for and healthy, which makes a difference when you & dog are in the field working said stock. Thank you, Shannon, for all that you do!! Instruction from Shannon has served me well with my working crew. We have evolved much more than what I had ever thought! Her knowledge is endless. She also has a knack for knowing your dog before ever taking them into the pen or field, which is definitely a plus, as she'll know what to do when starting that dog.
