Man & His Mutt

Alex is THE BEST at what he does. I have four dogs one of which is the baby of the family and needed a lot of beginner training. Alex quickly helped guide us into learning training techniques to master those obedience skills. My other pup, Ghosty, on the other hand is a COVID baby and also had a rough start in life. He is reactive to both people and animals. It was a slowwww moving process with Ghost. I previously had another dog trainer that stated that he was a pro at dealing with reactivity, but that ended in quite a disappointment. I tried many people and nobody wanted to help due to the level of reactivity that they got from Ghost. It got to the point where I had given up on trying to help him.. until I met Alex. He worked with my partner and I to understand Ghosty and help him with his trauma. It has been a long road and we will always have work to do to give him the life that he deserves, but we truly feel more confident in the process and Alex is the sole reason for this!

Alex is the BEST. He is our go to favorite sitter to stay with our small zoo. With 3 dogs, 5 cats and a bearded dragon, it’s a big job. We always come home to happy stress free animals. Alex is the only person outside of our immediate family to watch our very scared dog. He showed her such kindness and patience while respecting her strict boundaries. She even warmed up to him after a couple days which is basically unheard of. Alex also came to the rescue when we forgot some important items for our wedding! He’s an amazing human who is so warm and loving. We feel lucky to have him!

Alex is a dog whisperer! Before working with him, taking my dog to public places where other dogs might be around was stressful because I never knew when she would start a fight. He taught me how to understand her body language and handle her better during interactions. Thanks to his help, an off-leash dog recently ran up to us in the park and instead of reacting aggressively, she was friendly and playful! I never thought I’d feel this much peace of mind taking her to public places.
