Massbach Kennels

I found Justin at Massbach kennels from a facebook group about Duck Dogs and Duck Hunting. I didn’t know him at all but reached out to explain what I was looking for in a finished duck dog. We spoke at great length over the course of several weeks and we finally landed on a 2 year old male that was nearly finished and just needed a few more additional months of follow on training to be ready for us. Justin was diligent in keeping abreast of his training and how he was progressing. Justin was easy to deal with, pleasant to talk to and I would definitely recommend anyone who is in the market for a Lab to purchase one from him. About the dog- what can I say?! When I met my dog in person I was wowed at his high level of training, his demeanor is perfect and he’s so well behaved it made me want to sell my other dogs at home😂 just kidding, but really my dog was so much more than I was expecting and I’m already looking to buy a second dog from Massbach in the near future. First class people, training and dogs! 1000% trustworthy and dependable, they deliver on their promises! Go buy a dog from them, you won’t be disappointed!

We highly recommend Justin and Massbach Kennels for their dog training & boarding. We did the obedience training for our Irish Setter puppy who stayed on site at Massbach for several weeks. We got frequent video updates throughout her stay showing her progress as Justin and his team worked on her on-lead obedience and off-leash commands. We were also able to visit midway through the training to learn the proper handling techniques. Justin was incredibly helpful and took great care of our dog. She is now able to walk without a leash, come when called, sit at heel, and is much more obedient and calm. We continue to be impressed with how well she was trained and how much she learned.

We had the best experience ever! Justin was really great at communicating and sending regular update and videos showing the progress of our Irish Setter, Finn. He taught her how to walk off leash at our sides which is a complete game changer for our family. Prior to training it had gotten to the point where I could not longer walk her because she would pull too hard on her leash. This has completely changed the dynamic in our home now that she’s getting plenty of exercise and we’re able to take her for regular walks. Justin took the time to listen to our concerns and he worked with Finn on lessening her anxiety when it comes to grooming. Great experience overall and we could not recommend Justin more!

Just when we thought there was nowhere local any longer to board our dog, we learned about Justin and his training business and were very happy to learn he also offered boarding! We gave them a call and had arrangements set up quickly. When we got to the facility, it was impressive, very well organized, and equipped for a good number of dogs. We met Justin's wife Sarah for the drop-off and finalized the schedule. It was a 2-night stay for Stella, and when we picked her up, we could see she had enjoyed her new doggy hotel! It's definitely a great asset to the area, and Stella will be making a return trip the next time we have to be gone. Thanks again Massbach Kennels!
