FirstBarkChance and his team are amazing. My dog went to training because she was aggressive and attacked another dog. They were able to work with her over the span of 4 months to ensure she was able to control her aggression as well as calm her anxiety. I would recommend for anyone having troubles with their dog or simply wanting them to behave better.

Our dog Larry went to Mattox as an anxious puppy following an altercation with another dog. After 12 weeks at training he has matured, learned manners, and has been great with other dogs. Not only did they work on training they improved his hygiene while treating him as part of their own family. At the end of his training they provided an excellent turn over training with us to continue working with him at home. Having young kids, this training has helped our family function better. We would recommend this training academy!
Mattox dog training from beginning to end did everything like pros! From my first conversation to leaving my dog in their care for 4 months, I never worried and in fact knew he was in the right place for learning and we are better dog owners as a result as well! They continue to be a great resource and they take care of your dog as if it were their own dog, and the expertise is top notch!

We were looking for someone to train our young family dog. Mattox Dog Training was exactly what we were hoping for. Not only did she learn all the obedience commands, we also learned how to keep her nutrition levels high and she got a lot of practice with grooming. Her confidence improved and we can see a big difference already. She was well loved during our time away from us and we are happy to have our obedient dog back in our home.
Both of my dogs were trained this spring with Chance. The difference has been transformational. Both dogs posed challenges that their time at Maddox helped to address, creating foundational skills for the dogs and me to continue using and improving on at home.
