We want to give a huge shout out to Nick at MeierK9 for all he has done these past 10 weeks to help give us the resources and knowledge needed to train our dog, Vernie. We adopted Vernie when he was a puppy from a shelter and he had gotten to be a very reactive dog over the years. We could not take him around any dogs, he would pull when walking, jump on people at the house, hated affection, and would not listen the best. Since going to Nick, Vern has made a complete 180 change. We can now take him for walks around other dogs, he’s calm at home, he listens to our commands, he can go on long car rides, he loves being cuddled and he can even go off the leash without running away. He is overall a happier and healthier dog and for that we are so grateful! With MeierK9, we were able to set and create new boundaries that have strengthened our bond with Vernie! We started training with Nick with the hopes of improving pulling/leash walking & also recall with our 4 1/2 year old lab. Prior to working with Nick, Rookie would pull the entire walk and would not come back when we tried to call her. After just a few sessions and practicing at home, we now can walk with Rookie with minimal pulling & can enjoy off leash exploring now! We truly are amazed by Nick’s professionalism, and how he has changed our dog’s life for the better.

Truly impressed with the change in my dog. My husband was a bit hesitant about driving so far to see Nick. His mind quickly changed after the first week we saw a change in our dogs demeanor. He had dog reactivity that was getting worse with what we have tried in the past. I was unable to walk him safely prior to bringing him to Nick. After using the tools we were taught and being consistent. He is now much less reactive on leash, heeling very well and we will learn e-collar training going forward.

We heard about Meier K9 from a friend. Nick has literally been a lifesaver for our 9 month old American bully that was showing aggression towards other dogs. Some other professionals that we reached out to recommended Euthanasia. That was not a decision that My husband and I would ever take lightly. Thank God we heard about this business. Nick truly seems to understand the inner workings of a dog's mind. We have seen a drastic improvement in his behavior in just the 5 sessions that we've had so far. They are worth every penny. I highly recommend him to anyone with a similar issue or even just obedience in general.
