Miracle K9 Training

I can't recommend Miracle K9 Training Cleveland enough, especially Michelle! My dog spent his entire life in a shelter before I adopted him, so he came with a lot of anxiety and uncertainty. Michelle was so patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging from the very beginning, and she helped both of us build the confidence we needed. The transformation has been incredible. My once-anxious shelter dog is now so much happier, more confident, and able to enjoy life in ways I never thought possible. Just as importantly, Michelle taught me how to better understand and communicate with him, which has made our bond even stronger. We have even been able to travel back home to meet my family for a beach trip! You can tell Michelle truly cares about every dog and owner she works with. If you're looking for compassionate, effective training that makes a real difference, I wholeheartedly recommend Miracle K9 Training Cleveland. I'm so grateful for everything Michelle has done for us!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Miracle K9 - they trained my dog, my sister's dog, and my partner's dog! I brought my pup to them for general obedience after seeing the results firsthand, but I also had the goal to get mine and my partner's dog to be able to live with each other. Before we lived together, our dog's had a few instances of fighting that made any additional interactions tense and uncomfortable for all of us involved. Although no one was gravely injured, the fighting was scary and stressful, and it made talking about taking the next step in our relationship shadowed by the burden of our two pets getting along. I'll be very honest - this was not an overnight process and had lots of ups and downs, and we learned a tremendous amount along the way. We would make progress, then make a mistake that felt like two steps back, and we were becoming more devastated and hopeless. I reached out to David, and he began to personally come out and help us with the girls, even going so far as to take them for a couple weeks while we moved in to give us the best start possible. Even though it wasn't fast, the results have been incredible. We went from the "crate and rotate", separation via baby gates, using muzzles all of the time, and constantly being on alert to having two sweet girls that ACTUALLY PLAY TOGETHER. I can't emphasize how impactful Miracle K9 and David were in transforming our dogs, our relationship and communication with them, and truly giving us the opportunity to move forward in our lives. I know we would not be where we are now without Miracle and David, and we are all eternally grateful for their compassion, patience, and continuous support - even when we were ready to quit ourselves. To anyone in a similar situation, I promise you that there is hope, and Miracle K9's professionalism and expertise will help you get there. On 5/15/2025, this very large ball of fur, at the most BRUTAL stage of shark teef, ended up in the best hands I could have EVER asked for. Ever dreamed of. This review is beyond overdue. Miracle K9 isn't just a few weeks of training or a place to board your dog. "Short" background: Because we all have a story... In March 2024, I drove two hours to meet a squishy ball of fur with a red bandanna around his neck. Baby floof was only 7 weeks old, and I hadn't planned on bringing him home that day. But if I didn't "take him" then, I couldn't put down a deposit. Looking back, it wasn't just picking up my forever floof—it was a rescue mission for both of us. Zeno (aka. Goof), my sable working-line German Shepherd, was terrified of life itself. From gotcha day on, our bond began. His fear and reactivity to every sound was overwhelming. Fast movements weren't met with a little cower—they could trigger full panic. As he grew, his size combined with that fear terrified me. Our first trainer told me, "If he's still reacting like that, he can't be around people—ever." This came after the training they had completed, following an incident where he reacted to my friend's natural hand movement. The result: two broken fingers and his first bite record. I was DEVASTATED. I held him and cried for days. I wanted him to experience love and life so much. If you're reading this with a reactive dog, you know how mentally and emotionally exhausting it can be. I knew that training wasn't enough...and that I wasn't enough for him by myself—and that's a good thing. With a broken and guilty heart, I dropped Zeno off for his LIFE-CHANGING adventure. I wanted him to remember me. I didn't want him to think I'd left him forever. It got so quiet again. My only goal was for Zeno to safely interact with someone in case of an emergency. That was it. But that wasn't it—in the best possible way. Bridget started sending updates on Day 1. Zeno's muzzle was off. He was around multiple people. He played with other dogs. He was relaxed. He happily played with Mr. Giraffeee! In DAYS—not halfway through training—I couldn't believe the progress. My mom thought I was showing her videos of a different dog. It wasn't. It was my floof. My Zeno. David, Bridget, and the team became our second trainers—and they'll be our only trainers. When David brought Zeno home, I met a completely different dog. But here's the thing... It wasn't about getting a "different dog" back. Lots of trainers can teach obedience. Miracle K9 gave us the foundation to truly build our bond and experience life together. David understands behavior modification isn't one-size-fits-all. They met Zeno exactly where he was. They also taught me. I've learned so much from David, Bridget, the team...and from Zeno. Your dog may be your greatest teacher if you're willing to listen. You have to stay consistent. You have to advocate for them—at home, at the vet, on walks. Here's what I really got: • A confident dog. • A dog someone else can safely handle. • A dog who runs after a ball without fear. • A dog who discovered puddles are fun. • A dog who walks beside me on a loose leash. • The confidence to advocate for him. • The knowledge to recognize what he's telling me. • The "how." • The "why." Most importantly... My best friend. Miracle K9 didn't just give me a different dog. They gave me the knowledge to continue helping him grow. Behavior isn't a destination; it's an everyday conversation built on communication, trust, and consistency. The greatest gift they gave me wasn't obedience. It was getting to watch Zeno discover that the world could actually be fun. For the first time, I wasn't just managing Zeno's life. I was finally able to enjoy it with him. I just rescued a bigger dog who was having problems getting along with my smaller dogs. She was too overwhelming for them and she would try jumping on their backs if they didn't want to play. On walks, she had a high prey drive and would pull very hard to get to the squirrels and birds, which was also a huge problem since I have parrots at home. I sent her to Miracle K9 for their board and train program. During the duration of her stay, I was able to track her progress through social media and via text message. When she returned, she was changed for the better! Now all of my dogs get along together, I can have my birds out without her trying to murder them, and going on walks is so pleasant. I cannot stress how much headache and heartache I had prior to Miracle K9. The follow up with Bridgett helped wirh reinforcing the training. Scheduling was easy as well. I absolutely recommend them and their services.
