My rescue has a fear of men and from the very first encounter Mike was extremely patient with her. He took the time to allow her to warm up to him and feel safe. Once she felt safe with him she was able to follow his lead. Very professional, and has a love for animals. We are still doing the trainings at home and she is doing well. If you are looking for a great dog trainer but also a great owner’s trainer, this is the one to go! Mike helped me a lot and now me and my dog can go everywhere and have no issues at all! Recommended!!

Saved my Dog I contacted MJ Canine after my rescue dog Suki had attacked another dog in my neighborhood. I love animals and I could not live with the fact that my dog was responsible for hurting someone else’s pet nor did I want my girl to be taken from me. My otherwise sweet girl was aggressive with other dogs. We needed help fast! Mike was able to come out quickly for an evaluation. We started working together and got results immediately. He made some changes to the way I was handling and disciplining her. Now my girl and I are a lot more confident going out with each other and she is less reactive to the dogs in my neighborhood. Hey Mike , just wanted to thank you for doing such a wonderful job training my dog, Boaz, you were so patient and kind and to say the least. Sometimes I can be difficult but you were caring and worked with me and the dog so well to the point that yesterday a friend of mine tried to get Boaz to not listen to his commands, and as soon as I said, sit and stay, he did not even flinch when the guy tried getting him to move or jump up on the individual and from Mike’s training skills and everything he taught me Boaz stayed completely calm Place without being bothered whatsoever. If you are looking for a good trainer that will not only care about your dog but you as a person you’re in the Right Place Mike is a great guy and I’m so glad I had the Work with him!!
