We had the pleasure of working with Kristen Noel with in home private session for our Maddie girl. Kristen was excellent to work with, always on time or early and thoroughly explained and displayed in each session. We were able to control our sessions bases on our current needs and wants for Maddie which ultimately dictated how Kristen would show us how to achieve our goals. With Kristen’s help we learned that you need to get to the root cause of the undesired behavior in order achieve the results to you want. Each session ended with follow up notes and homework via email which is great as you always have reference to what you just learned. We highly recommend Kristen and her staff for your pups needs and wants. We will continue to work with the team as we need them or just to go in their facility for some added fun with Maddie.

Modern Dog doesn’t just offer training - they offer hope. When I looked into scheduling private training, I was defeated, at my emotional limit, and struggling to find the words for how challenging managing my Frenchie (with increasingly reactive behavior) around others had become. The learning commenced even before our assessment through their digestible “101”modules and I began to recognize where it might have started going wrong - not incriminating, but empowering, compassionate, breed-specific information. During our initial assessment, Jen affirmed our shared history, recognized my pup’s stress (and mine) due to chronic instability - four moves in 5 years! - and left us with tools THAT day. We moved forward with at home sessions and left more and more confident each visit. Jen has been a crucial guide in repairing my sense of confidence as a dog owner, and in helping my dog and I build a relationship around healthy communication, safe options, and resilience towards new experiences. Learning force free methods has been a game changer for us and brought back so much more love and life for my pup and I. We are thrilled to keep working with her and the Modern Dog team beyond our initial training pack - truly a God send!

Kristin and her team are awesome! I've had such a positive experience with their private sessions. I have a highly anxious rescue, and Kristin's advice & training has made both of our lives so much better. My girl is much happier, more well rounded, and listening much better now. Although our initial pack of sessions is over, we plan to have occasional follow up sessions to keep our girl's training skills sharp!

Thrilled with our experience at Modern Dog Training! They ask you to provide detailed information about your dog and what you hope to accomplish followed by a one on one "meet and greet". Ours was with Kayla and it was a great experience that allowed me to decide this is where I wanted to bring my dog. Kayla is excellent at being available for any information or questions you have about classes etc. Facility is clean, large room with plenty of space for dogs to have their own area to train while being in safe vicinity of other dogs which is exactly what I wanted for my dog. Our training was with Amanda. She was professional, knowledgeable, outgoing, interactive and always prepared! Class size was ideal for my young dog to allow her to be around other dogs and yet stay focused on learning. Everyone in the class were provided a written "homework" document based on each week's lesson so we would be prepared for the next session. Found this extremely helpful. We absolutely plan on continuing with additional courses to expand on her/my training. Thank you for an absolutely great experience!!

Kristen and the team at Modern Dog brought a professional and caring approach that our family needed to help with our anxious pup. We had exhausted other avenues but our prayers were answered with Modern Dog’s specially curated, one-on-one behavioral plan. Working in a familiar environment assisted in our dog’s ability to take on new information. We were also able to tailor his daily environment to be more conducive to his needs. We’ve seen a positive change in our dog’s behavior and quality of life, in large part thanks to the training we all received from Modern Dog. They covered everything from foundational basics to individualized skills. We feel lucky to have Modern Dog in our corner as we continue to grow as dog owners. 11/10 would recommend.
