Monster Dog Training

Sarah is a true professional. We’ve used other dog trainers in the past but within 1 session, we’ve learned more about our dogs than we have in a long time. We learned to read expressions, and dog behaviors that really helped our confidence with our two Boston terriers. Sarah is local, easy to work with and works right in our backyard which is great for our busy schedules! We really enjoy working with a dog trainer that cares so much. We have two female Boston Terriers that have been getting into escalating conflicts. In our first session I learned so much from Sarah, I finally felt hopeful that they could live peacefully together again. And Sarah made me feel totally comfortable asking any and all questions. The way she does her sessions, I just got so much out of them, I can’t stress that enough! She’s also just the type of person who is innately gifted and she just radiates knowledge and care.

We reached out to Sarah at Monster Dog Training because our dog (Dave) was extremely reactive and nervous. We had been living our life in quite an anxious way -- I mean like not walking in specific areas or at certain times of day because we were so worried about him having a hard time. We are only a few sessions in and have *genuinely* seen a massive improvement in not only Dave's behavior, but in our anxiety levels too. We have all gained so much confidence and are starting to feel excited about the idea of Dave actually being able to have a life full of friends and exploration, rather than one of worry. In fact, at his most recent lesson, Dave walked side-by-side with one of Sarah's dogs which is something we *never* thought would be possible. Sarah is beyond kind, knowledgeable, and patient. Her prices are extremely fair and her process is so thorough, but completely digestible. She also brought along one of the other trainers, Dannah, for a session, who was warm and supportive too.
