Nashville K-9

We have never paid for dog training before but we felt like our new Frenchie needed some personal instruction. I left Brutus at Nashville K9 as a hyper, unfocused puppy at 5 months old. I picked him up 28 days later and I was completely blown away by the amount of focus and discipline he had developed. It was incredible to see him sitting, going into a down, heeling and performing a whole host of other task! We never felt like we were out of the loop with his training. As promised, we received pictures every Tuesday and Saturday. This was such a welcomed personal touch from the staff! If you are considering Nashville K9, you won’t regret your decision. When we got Brutus home, we had a day where he wasn’t responding to me like he was during pick up - but we were warned there might be a day or two of adjusting to life back home. Follow the schedule you are given and be consistent. We now have a very enjoyable Frenchie who comes to me when asked, is a joy to walk with and is just a better overall balanced dog. Nashville K-9 is the best option when considering dog training in Middle Tennessee. They are not only extremely knowledgeable about training, but they care a tremendous amount about each dog that enters their facility. I was personally very impressed with the cleanliness of their facility. This can be tough with dogs coming in and out and the various weather conditions we experience; however, there was never a single dog hair spotted or dirt speck on the ground. Spotless! Nashville K-9 offers an indoor and outdoor training facility for pets. In addition to training our pup, they also took about 2 hours to sit down and train us on everything we needed to know to ensure a smooth transition home. Everything was explained and implemented with true logic at its source. 2-4 weeks is a long time without a family member, but Nashville K-9 made sure to make this time without our pet as easy as possible. With an email update and plenty of pictures every 3 days, our nerves were settled and we felt like we were a part of the entire training journey. I can't say enough great things about Nashville K-9!

The team at Nashville K-9 are amazing! My husband and I took our 5 month old German Shepherd for the 4 week board and train program. We were doing our best training him at home but weren’t making much progress. We’ve now had him home one day and already see a major difference! While on a walk he didn’t bark, growl, or lunge at any of the people/things that used to set him off. Ali and his staff are professional, and it is obvious they care about the dogs in their care and take pride in their work. Their facilities are clean and well maintained, and after our initial tour we had no reservations about leaving Hawkeye with them. The bi-weekly pictures also help so much! It was amazing being able to see our dog’s confidence grow just through the pictures. There is no better place to take your dog for training, and I really can’t say enough positive things about Nashville K-9!!
