I went to Nathan with my Great Dane puppy for some basic obedience with the idea of getting him therapy certified. Nathan's program is well thought out and easy to follow. If you work the program, you will get results. Ultimately, Clyde has been therapy certified by 2 different organizations, receiving a perfect 32/32 on requisite skills from Therapy Dogs of America. Nathan provided a solid foundation towards Clyde's successful foray into therapy work.

There are too many details to recount that make Nathan Woods the best dog trainer i have ever known. Suffice it to say that he has been training dogs his entire life and has experienced all of the behaviors that dogs can exhibit. He has again yet lovingly way with dogs and intuitively knows exactly what the dog needs if a correction is necessary. We loved working with Nathan and he gives a guarantee that he will help you to correct unwanted behavior. Once you work with him you can always go back for refresher instructions. He is the best!

Simply the BEST trainer in Santa Barbara! Both of our Golden Retrievers were obedience trained at Nathan’s. Trust me: the dogs will be well trained as well as their owners🐶🥰 You can’t go wrong!
