New England K-9 School for Dogs

I bought a 7 months old GSD with an amazing temperament. However, the dog had no previous obedience training. Not to procrastinate, I started looking for training schools in Mass. I already knew that I wanted to get a real deal training from a professional that truly understands how the training should be done. Your dog will only be as good as you. With that being said, I knew I am the one that needs training. I started calling different schools around my town. After spending a few hours on the phone and not being able to talk to anyone, I dialed New England K9 School for Dogs (my next one on the list.) Sol answered after the second ring tone. We had an awesome conversation and I knew immediately that I found the right place. I scheduled an appointment for the following day. Now, this man is no joke. You get what you pay for. My first session was successful! He not only trained me to train my dog, but also provided some valuable advice on the topics that concerned me especially as a new dog owner. Oh, and by the way, Sol is funny as hell. He’ll make you laugh throughout the entire session. If you’re serious about your dog results, you found the right place! No regrets! Looking forward to grow with my dog as a competent dog owner.

I brought my 2yr old Doberman to New England K9 in Hopkinton about a week ago. Sol is a great teacher. He's the real deal. He said I would notice a change in my dogs behavior within 20min and he was dead no accurate. Halfway through the first lesson my dog became very submissive and I was very impressed at Sol teaching technique. He's become calmer at home and listens better than before we started the training. Sol came highly recommended by a friend of mine and all my friends dogs are very well behaved. I'm looking forward to our next lesson

Sol's method of using a choke collar along with a good leather leash for our 2.5yr old GSD is working miracles. Previously we had tried CSG training, a gentle leader, a choke chain, and treats. Those didn't work. Roxy did what we told her to do most of the time, but she ignored us some of the time and was a "boss" lady around the house. With this new training method we have her on leash pretty much whenever we're with her and in the crate when we're not. We correct any unwanted behavior through the use of the choke chain. More than anything though we're working on heeling and sitting. That's it! After just one lesson with Sol and by doing our homework we're able to pass other dogs without her lunging at them, we're able to be with the kids at the bus stop without her whining that our boys are running around, and we're able to walk her comfortably knowing that we have her under control whenever a situation arises.
