My husband and I just relocated to South Carolina, and installed a fence to our new homes backyard…. Well, within 5 days of being here one of our girls decided to jump over the fence… I was desperate for help. Heather was extremely responsive, and connected us with one of her trainers, Lindi. Well, we can’t be more overjoyed with the manners, boundaries, and obedience our girls came home with. Our bird living girls now respect their backyard and can run as much as they want. 3 weeks of love from Lindi certainly taught our girls to be happy dogs with manners!

I am an owner of 2 Australian shepherds and reached out to Heather last year, as we were seeking to have more control over them to make life easier with kids- and to make family outings and walks less stressful. We did the 4 week board and train for my one reactive dog and the 3 week board and train for my other less reactive dog. A year later, they remain calmer and happier dogs that we have so much more control over. We are pleased with how their training has translated into our everyday lives.

I did one-on-one training sessions with Heather after rescuing Sosa and having several incidents between him and my other pup, Opie. Heather was great in helping me understand Sosa's anxiety, body language, and needs...as well as Opie's. I have learned more about triggers, how to respond effectively and confidently, and the importance of following through on their continued training. I even sent Sosa for an additional 10-day training to reinforce skills and work on issues/needs specific to our home. With Heather's help, we have been able to find balance and peace within the home again and I am so grateful. She always responds to any questions I ask in relation to the dogs' behaviors or any incidents that present, which I greatly appreciate! Heather's expertise and patience were just what we needed! She immediately connected with Allie-Jane and us, making the training sessions not only effective but also enjoyable. Let me paint you a picture, you have this hyperactive Australian Shepherd, that you can’t control on a leashes, knocks down every single one of your guest, pretty much high-fiving their private areas the moment they walk in, making it practically impossible for you to go on any family trips because he won’t listen or he’ll start biting your older dog then you meet Heather. Heather was a real lifesaver and a huge help. She was recommended to me by coworkers and now I recommend her to everybody. Ever since day one she explain to me what her job was, and she gave me a thorough walk-through of everything that I shoul be expected to do after the training sessions were over. I have never had to place any of my dogs in a board and train so this was definitely a new experience for me. She made this experience so easy. From the moment we came in contact, she explained to me the pick up and drop off situation. She explained to me where my dog would be staying how often she would be feeding my dog, and what she would be teaching or correcting my dog to be doing during those three weeks. she kept up with communication with me. She would send me pictures of Jasper while they were practicing place in downtown Kannapolis or in a Lowe’s. Upon bringing jasper back home, she sat me down and explain to me everything that he has learned and what she recommends that I continue to do so that his process continues to excel. She was very patient and walked me through how do use the E collar and also answered every single question that I had for her, I was definitely that annoying dog mom that was very concerned about how her dog was doing and how he would be when he came home. It’s been roughly a year now and to this day we still continue to keep up with the lessons that she has taught him we go out practice place, go to social gatherings, and he understands , when and when he cannot act a fool. If I put him in place, he understands not to leave that place until directed to do so! She still will not hesitate to answer a text or a phone call to give me any tips if I ask her for assistance. After I completed my board and train session with her, she included me in a thing that she calls “pack walk”, which basically is any other clients that she has trained and worked with is welcomed and we will go on walks and reinforce those training materials that was taught in those lessons. she is absolutely stellar, and I will continue to swear by her and I will recommend her 13/10.
