Steve helped us so much! We were having trouble controlling our spirited puppy. Rusty’s jumping, mouthing and general over- the-top enthusiasm was affecting our enjoyment of our pup. Steve helped us with tools, demeanor, consistency, and behavior that changed our experience completely. Private and group sessions were so valuable. I'm a longtime, repeat client. Steve and I talked before I even got my Cane Corso puppy. My dog has trained with NitroK9 his entire life. Over the last two years, we've done: 1. Level 1: Beginner Obedience 2. Board and Train (twice) 3. Home Visits 4. Personal Protection I'd recommend them for all those services. They made him the obedient family dog he is today. He naturally found his calling in protection work. He LOVES training so much that stopping would take away his sense of focus and purpose. Also, I bond with my dog when we train together as a team. They also provide guidance on dog nutrition and exercise, which helped him grow into the Swole Beefcake he is today.

My wife and I adopted a Doberman pup about 5 months ago and just like any new dog parents especially working dog parents we were very excited to get her into some sort of training! She was about 12 weeks old when she started with Nitro K-9 and to our surprise we realized our pup had some serious separation anxiety from my wife and I. Thankfully with all thanks to Nitro K-9 we were able to successfully work through our pups troubles. At first our puppy showed resistance to even the smallest things like letting someone other than my wife or myself to walk her, she was a very loud and nervous pup in the beginning. With some time and consistency all from Nitro K-9 we are very thrilled to share that our pup Beso girl is a confident good dog! She can be handled by anyone with ease and enjoys day to day life with us fully. We wouldn’t know we had to work through her anxieties had we not gone to Nitro K-9. If I could give 10 stars I would but the 5 will have to do!⭐️ Thank you to Steve & North for putting your knowledge and time into our pup and family ! We are beyond grateful and will always recommend Nitro K-9 to anyone who asks how we got such a great dog!

5 stars just isn’t enough to be honest; I cannot recommend Nitro K-9 enough! My Doberman puppy Beso and I started with Nitro about 4 months ago and let Mr just preface this review with the fact that our Doberman puppy had severe separation anxiety with my husband and I with a very strong will to resist other people besides us. We had a slow start to my pups certain anxieties but the team at Nitro K-9 particularly Steve & North knew that with their dog training system and techniques that Beso could get past it and be a strong confident dog whom we could trust and just enjoy her presence on day to day life. Needless to say my dog is now 6 months old and has done a complete 180! She can be handled by anyone with ease and just a joy to work with rather than needing to be coddled constantly like before! Nitro K-9 gave us the tools, guidance & training we needed to have one of the biggest freedoms in the world which is having a fully trained dog you can trust on and off leash! The proof is in the pudding and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for dog training other than Nitro K-9!

Steve and the Nitro team have changed my relationship with my dog. I found out about a traumatic past my dog Winston had after I adopted him. He is the sweetest dog, and my greatest companion- but is very anxious and became reactive with other dogs. We have had multiple instances of attacking other dogs out of fear. I began to feed the anxiety, feeling anxious myself when passing other dogs on the street, and I was unable to have him off leash at all. That is when I found Steve. After just a few sessions, I saw Winston’s confidence grow. He trusted Steve and North immediately. We have been working on redirecting his focus, trusting me to protect him rather than the other way around. Basic obedience has become our secret weapon. We are now able to walk around the neighborhood without fear and Winston is noticeably happier. I have even decided to purchase another package of training classes so we can continue to grow together. Aside from the team’s incredible ability to earn the trust of dogs who have been badly betrayed, they are also just simply wonderful people. I could not recommend this organization and what they do enough! If you are having issues with problematic behavior, need obedience training, or just want to deepen your relationship with your dog, push Nitro K9 to the top of your list to consider!!
