We HIGHLY recommend Nomad K9! They are amazing at tuning into both the dog AND the owners. What really stood out to us was how well they understood that we weren’t looking for a “show dog” — we just wanted to have the best, happiest, most well-behaved dog we could realistically maintain. They clearly have the knowledge and ability to train dogs at the highest levels for law enforcement, customs, etc., but they also took the time to understand our softer English Cream and her personality. They trained to OUR abilities and needs, and helped us bring out the very best in her. We are so happy with the results and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They truly care about the dog AND the people behind the leash! ❤️🐾

Rich is a wealth of knowledge. His background and experience make him a true expert in the industry. He has helped and continue to help develop my dog and I as an explosives detection K-9 team. His obedience first approach builds stable, adaptable, driven, and smart dogs who really become independent thinkers and problem solvers. The development of the dog from obedience to odor helps to build a picture for the dog, so that when they see something new, they adapt and have an understanding of what to do. The majority of this training has been for me, the handler. Rich has been such a huge help for me to understand what language I am speaking with my dog. My relationship with my dog is stronger than ever, I trust my dog and she’s trusts me because everything is fair and clear. If you’re looking for pet dog training or professional detection training. Rich is where you should go.

I truly cannot say enough good things about these trainers. Koda came to them with so much anxiety, reactivity, and disobedience, and the dog I have today is almost unrecognizable from where we started. He is calmer, more confident, better behaved, and most importantly, the training has continued to stick. We’re currently on our second 10-session training packages with them, and the trust I have in them is huge. Koda trusts them too, which means everything to me. They didn’t just train my dog — they helped me understand him better, gave me the tools to communicate with him, and made it possible for us to actually enjoy life together instead of constantly managing his anxiety and behavior. What they’ve done for Koda has changed our everyday life. I can take him places, trust him, enjoy him, and feel confident handling situations that used to feel overwhelming. That kind of change is priceless. They are genuinely incredible people and incredible trainers. I would trust them with my dogs without hesitation, and I cannot recommend them enough.

You absolutely won't find a better instructor than Rich. His knowledge is above reproach, and knows everything there is to know about detection work, obedience and operational skills. They are incredibly responsive and patient with your dogs, and could not be better humans. I would recommend literally everybody possible to work with this company. They take all the necessary steps to ensure your dog gets where they need to be! Would give 100/5 stars if I could. Seriously, these are your people for quite literally anything dog related.
