I will not be bringing any dog back to Nora's. I brought my girl here about a year ago, she was a new dog to me as I had just adopted her (she was my first dog of my own) and needed help with reactivity as well as pulling while walking, separation anxiety and more. I enrolled her in board and train and it took about a month and a half for my girl to come home. When she came home, she was wearing an ill fitted prong collar. I have nothing against prong collars but at the time, I was told that this is how it should fit my dog. I did not know any better and assumed that this was the correct information. After bringing her home, she was reverting to old ways and I found out that she did not get the dog socialization she needed. She was also tucking her tail and pulling me due to fear based reactivity. She stayed longer because she would not lay down on command and when she came home she was so fearful that heeling with her was impossible. When I called to talk about the separation anxiety still being apparent as well as some other issues. They reiterated that she had no issues at Camp and that I could get in home sessions. After going to a different trainer, I was taught how to properly fit a prong collar (prong collars that are not fitted properly can hurt your dog) and found that my girl was scared and stressed. She had no confidence. Sure she knew how to sit and heel but she was not confident and scared of just about everything. It has been a long road but my girl is finally confident and obedient, thanks to a different trainer.

We sent our 10-month old Brittany named Tug McPaw to Nora’s Dog Training Company before leaving on a trip to Arizona in early March 2020. When we came back 2 1/2 weeks later, we had a puppy so well trained on the leash that we now walk 8 miles a day in a calm manner versus the helicopter puppy we’d left behind. Nora, Rich and the rest of the team are so attentive and engaged and it’s readily apparent that they truly love what they do. We’d highly recommend!
