Let us be the guiding light of communication between you and your dog! We are balanced trainers focused on providing the best possible experience, tailored to your dog and family! We want to make sure our clients and their dogs come first, and that each person that uses our company has the BEST POSSIBLE EXPERIENCE and no one falls through the cracks with a less than stellar experience. No dog is “too hard” or “too scary” and everyone will come home better and more confident than when they left! We offer specialized dog training, as well as board and train and hybrid programs for behavior modification and rehabilitation in real-world settings. Our programs are tailored to the individual dog and all behavioral issues.

Cheryl was kind, patient, and oh so knowledgeable. Me and my two rambunctious boys learned SO much and have come so far with the skills that Cheryl was able to provide us with. We came to lessons, we did our homework, and my boys are so much more manageable, well behaved, and calm than when we started. I always appreciated knowing she was on our side and wanted us to succeed, possibly more than even I wanted us to succeed. She loved my boys and cared for them during our sessions and was a constant hype girl for me, especially when I was doubting my own abilities! I couldn’t possibly recommend Cheryl or North Star highly enough! We are eternally grateful for the knowledge and skills they gave us!
Cheryl is wonderful at what she does!! In 5 lessons, she taught our teenage dog how to settle, walk, and overall have much better manners! I would recommend her to anyone. She made each lesson fun and engaging while also teaching us how to be the best dog parents we can be. If you’re looking for an excellent trainer, look no further!
I worked with Cheryl on some leash reactivity training with my dog Gracie and Cheryl did such a great job. I learned so many helpful tips and tricks from her and I can already see major improvement in my dog.
