North Star K9 Training

We came to learn of NorthStar K9 through our local shelter. We were impressed seeing them work with the rescued dogs to assist in making them more adoptable. Our two most recent rescues, Murphy and Bolt, had both been at the shelter separately for over three months and had developed certain behavior patterns. Murphy had grown so large and strong that it was impossible to have him on a leash and too headstrong to have him off leash. Bolt had became unsociable and skittish around people and aggressive toward our third dog. We had one session with Bolt where he met the trainers, Chloe and Kami. It was determined that both dogs would benefit from the 2 Week Adventure Training Camp. Having our concerns with never leaving our dogs with anyone before was quickly eliminated once Kami took them home. Kami continuously updated us with informative messages , videos and photos of what, why and how they were learning their lessons. (She also just shared cute pictures when Mom and Dad were missing them!) Kami cared for our dogs as if they were her own and we cannot be more appreciative. After the Camp they recommended a few more days for Bolt. This allowed them to work on individual task to boost Bolt’s confidence and introduce him to a muzzle when necessary. After returning from Camp, Murphy and Bolt now have all 7 foundational commands. Murphy is completely off leash when allowed and Bolt will be soon. We want to thank Kami, Chloe and Kaylee for developing the best training plan for our dog’s individual needs. By doing this they were never set up to fail. Also now having this relationship with North Star K9, we know we can reach out with any questions or concerns in the future. FIVE STARS ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Absolutely recommend North Star K9 training. Our Bernedoodle Gus did the two week adventure camp with Morgan and he came back a changed dog. We were struggling with him getting into food and kid toys. Gus came back having learned how to stay on his place, heel, and other basic commands that have helped us as a family. Really impressed by Morgan’s knowledge, skill, and communication skills. 10/10 recommend!

I cannot say enough positive things about Northstar K9 training and our trainer Morgan! She transformed Hank and his behavior and now we have our sweet boy and our home back. When we came to Northstar, Hank was wild and anxious. He had a rough start to life and needed some direction and confidence and Morgan helped give him that. We were kind of at the end of our rope with Hank, he had destroyed furniture and was a very anxious boy but with Morgan and Northstar help he is a happy, confident and much less anxious! I would 1000% recommend Morgan and Northstar!
