Let us be the guiding light of communication between you and your dog! We are balanced trainers focused on providing the best possible experience, tailored to your dog and family! We want to make sure our clients and their dogs come first, and that each person that uses our company has the BEST POSSIBLE EXPERIENCE and no one falls through the cracks with a less than stellar experience. No dog is “too hard” or “too scary” and everyone will come home better and more confident than when they left! We offer specialized dog training, as well as board and train and hybrid programs for behavior modification and rehabilitation in real-world settings. Our programs are tailored to the individual dog and all behavioral issues.

I am truly thankful for everything Shannon did for my sweet (and wild) guy, Lincoln. She is passionate about what she does and goes above & beyond to make sure your dog gets what they need. I’ve had previous experience with her training family members dogs so it was a no brainer when it came to finding a trainer for my own. Lincoln did a 2.5 week board & train and she took such great care of him. She kept me updated the entire time and shared tons of photos/videos while he was gone. When training was over and I picked him up, it was immediately evident how well the two of them bonded. That gave me even more reassurance that I made the right choice in choosing North Star. Without a doubt I will continue to choose this company for future needs.
