Off Leash K9 Training Central Florida

Staff is very nice and friendly. Their method of training is basically to use a shock collar until they submit. Unfortunately, for working breads like my German Shepherd it made him much more reactive and violent through the program. We were told by our instructor that she didn’t know what to do and then delayed our sessions for over a month. I think they mean well, but not equipped to train large breed dogs or working lines. We hired a real trainer and my dogs behavior was fixed literally same day which made me question the training even further. I did not feel like we got our money’s worth or the knowledge through this course unfortunately. If you have a big powerful dog in need of actual training consider another source.

After debating myself back and forth on whether or not to board and train my 9 month old golden retriever puppy in a complete stranger’s house, I could not be happier in the decision I made to pull the trigger on the two week board and train. It took one conversation with trainer Jonathan to realize that he was the right guy for the job. He asked questions about Piper’s behaviors(good and bad) and what were some of the traits I would like to see from her after training. He even asked for any videos of her behaviors at home(zoomies, counter surfing, jumping on guests, pulling on the leash while walking) prior to coming to training so he could see what she would need specifically while in training with him. Plain and simple, he genuinely cared. He also ensured me that my baby would be in his home with him and his family while learning all of the lessons to become the amazing dog we have today. During training Jonathan would routinely check in with us and send us videos of the process being made. He was an absolute professional through and through. The transformation was mind blowing. Almost annoying in the fact that I couldn’t train her properly for 9 months and in 2 weeks she’s so well behaved. And finally the day we went to go get our puppy back. Jonathan took 3 hours of his time to make sure that Piper would take all the training she had learned over the last two weeks and transitioned it to myself and my wife. I would recommend Jonathan and Off Lease K-9 to anyone who wants the security of knowing that their fur baby will obey commands and be able to be off leash where you can enjoy the best of your dog. It was worth the money and time. Thank you again Jonathan and I will be using you again down the road for my next puppy.

We did the 2 week board and train program with Jonathan for our 1 year old Australian Shephard / Husky mix. Prior to training with Jonathan he was difficult to walk and did not listen or follow commands when he didn't feel like it. When we got Woodrow back, he was extremely well behaved. We can walk him without problems now, bring him everywhere and he listens great. Jonathan was super responsive throughout the entire two week process and was great to work with.
