I cannot say enough good things about Mike and the techniques and knowledge (I may have even referred to it as "voodoo magic" once or twice) that he uses to work with both the dogs and their humans. I came to him with an unsocialized, high strung, very reactive, small critter hating, 80+ pound pit bull mix. Within the first 10 minutes of our first lesson, I was convinced. This dog that has been given a hefty prescripation of Trazadone before returning to the vet clinic is now voluntarily following Mike around in his driveway, eagerly awaiting command and instruction. Maxwell and I completed 4 lessons with Mike, and the biggest testament I can give to Off Leash K9 Training and to Mike's skill, knowledge, and expertise is this... I was terrified to take my dog out of the house for fear of what could happen. Mike gave Maxwell knowledge, but he gave me the tools and the confidence in my dog that has allowed us to not only leave the house, but go to the dog park and best yet - he starts doggy daycare next week. Today was the first day my dog has been near another human or animal without a muzzle on in almost 2 years. Without the help of Off Leash K9 Training, that moment may never have happened. My dog is on his way to being a happily socialized and well-mannered boy, and I am an extremely happy customer.
