FirstBarkMike is an excellent trainer! He helped us get our 3.5 year old Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix under control and obedient. She is not only a totally different dog she seems happier and less anxious. Can not recommend enough!

Hey Mike I understand you had my nephew, Christopher stephens dog he didn’t think he had a two week class. Do you have anything other than the two options
We do have other options for the Board & Train program. We offer a 1, 2, and 3 week program. The program to chose is dependent on what you’re trying to accomplish and what issues your dog may be struggling with.

We recently had our two dogs Loki and Gypsy train with Mike for a two week period. The training they received was excellent. Both dogs learned so much and their behavior has greatly improved. Mike truly treats your dogs as if they are his own. We were so impressed with his dedication to their training. Our dogs were staying when the severe storms came through. Mike was in contact with me throughout letting us know they were all safe and ok. Also due to extreme heat during the few days they actually extended their training because he couldn’t work with the dogs during the hottest parts of the day. He felt they weren’t just there yet and didn’t want them going home until he was completely satisfied with their training. I can’t recommend Mike enough. Absolutely the BEST. If you are looking for excellent training and someone to treat your dogs as if they are their own see Mike. Seriously, such a great trainer. Mike, thanks for all your hard work!!!
We left a crazy jack russell with Mike and we got back a jack russell that listens and is compliant to our direction... Oscar is so much happier now that he understands his role in our family....
Fantastic program that I highly recommend. Our Jack Russell, Oscar, was a handful and Mike worked with him so well! Oscar is calmer, rides in the car better, walks with a leash without pulling and waits for commands. I highly recommend this program and Mike to anyone who has a dog!

Working with Mike was a game changer! I brought my 7/8 month old German Shepherd, Arson, because he is very sweet but very distracted. Within a few minutes of working with him, Mike said "Here are 2 things I am noticing 1) this dog has a bad case of do whatever the heck I feel like. And 2) He is one of the physically strongest puppies I have worked with." We did the 4 lesson Basic package and man is there a difference. I mean we are still working on things and Arson still has "puppy brain" from time to time but our lessons gave to the confidence to communicate with Arson in a way I was missing before. Mike is straight forward and clear. He helped to to learn to read Arson's body language and how to time commands based on what I was seeing. Arson loves working with Mike and would get so excited when we would pull up. One thing to keep in mind is that you have to do the homework. Mike is a great trainer but you can't expect that an hour a week is going to solve all the issues. Consistancy is key. The other thing is that I was initially a little nervous about using the E-collar but at the start of our first lesson, Mike had me put the collar on my wrist. I couldnt even feel it until it was on the 14th level and a majority of our work has been done around 8-12 sometimes as low as 4. I highly recommend working with Mike. So worth it!!
