Off Leash K9 Training Lansing

A rescue dog transformed thanks to the work of Ashlind at Off Leash K9 training! We are so happy with the results in just 2 weeks. It’s now on us to continue the program to ensure we can enjoy many years with a dog who behaves so well. We left confident and equipped with the commands and tools to do it. We didn’t think we could love our dog more than we did when we dropped her off but Ashlind’s magic took it next level! Absolutely worth the money. Thank you!!!

I took my almost 2 year old golden for a 1 week board and train because her leash pulling became a safety hazard especially around wildlife and during the snow. She is a great dog and I love her but she has a hard time calming her excitement and it was something I was concerned with as she has head butted me multiple times. I was always anxious of taking her to public places fearing she would accidentally hurt someone. The trainer tailored the training according to what I wanted and I am very satisfied with the amount of improvement she had in such a short time. He was very patient with me when I asked about how he used the ecollar and his training techniques. He sent daily updates of her training which made me feel at peace knowing she was doing well. She is still herself with her goofy personality but now I have better control over her. I went on a long walk with her to practice what she learned and it was the first time in a very long time where I enjoyed walking her and she finished her step goal ring! Would recommend!

Mike was absolutely incredible in helping us with off-leash training for our dog, Astrid! I have used Mike many years ago for my first dog, Gunner and I was so impressed from the very beginning. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!!!! Mike is amazing!!! My boy Colt loved it there! He was a good boy before he went to school but now...... He goes everywhere with me! Before school I was hesitant to take him in public even though he was a good boy. But, now since training (about a week) I take home everywhere!!!! He listens and does what I tell him to do! Doesn't seem like a big deal but you know the anxiety when another dog approaches... The unknown... Colt sits confidently by my side waiting for me to say ok! Other dog owners can't believe how amazingly he listens!!!!!! I can't thank Off Leash and Mike enough!!!!!!!!! Like I said...... Worth every penny!!!!!

Mike did an amazing job with our 2 year old setter Rusty. Rusty had immense trouble focusing outside due to his high prey drive and could not walk on a leash at all, which means most of his exercise would come from running around outside in the yard, leading to a negative cycle where he thought going outside meant he gets to play 100% of the time and do whatever he wants, he was also very nervous with low confidence. After a few video updates from Mike we could hardly believe he was the same dog. Rusty is now walking great on the leash, able to relax inside, and almost completely ignores other dogs / people on walks without getting nervous. We are so excited to take what Mike taught us when we picked Rusty up and use it to continue to help him get the most out of life. We couldn’t be happier with the results!
