Off Leash K9 Training Lansing

We were searching for training help with our two challenging rottweilers and we couldn't have picked a better trainer. Ashlind at Offleash K9 training came highly recommended and she didn't disappoint. Our dogs did the two week board and train program. She sent us videos daily on their progress. We knew right away they were in caring and capable hands. What used to be a battle during evening walks is now a pleasurable experience, with both rotts walking peacefully by our sides. They have recall where none existed before, even despite previous training. I can't recommend this enough--if you think that this level of obedience isn't possible for you dog, I challenge you to test that notion. If it worked on our stubborn rotts, it will work on yours too.

I had left a message on Mike's website asking for his help with my dog aggressive pitbull mix. We adopted her 2 years prior and had been recently not getting along with our other 7 year old pit mix. She was wild and basically ran circles around us. Mike called me the same day and told me he would be able to fix my wild Ava. I was skeptical at first but after I hung up I had a new hope for our dogs. The first day of training was painful to watch, she was so stubborn but at the end of the lesson she knew "come" and. "Sit". Fast forward 4 weeks later and Ava knows come, sit, place, heel and down (lay down) shes was trained with an e collar but I barely use it and she obeys with voice and hand commands. Did I mention aftwr 4 lessons she is trained OFF LEASH! Her and my other pit bull leave eachother alone, Ava is confident and everyone is so happy now. Ashlind was our trainer. Highly recommend! She taught him more in two weeks then I was able to in a year and half on my own. (Even with dog classes I've taken else where) She's very responsive and informative of everything she's doing and how to properly continuing what he's learned after pickup. Was very nervous leaving him for two weeks with someone. Once I met her she had such a great energy and it was the best decision I've made for him. She's also an outstanding photographer and sends the best updates.

We had an Amazing experience and worked with Ashlind who is an Outstanding dog trainer! When we initially met with her to go over difficult areas where we were struggling with our 2 Labradors, she immediately took note. She targeted these areas specifically along with all the other target areas that we needed to just physically manage them not only at home but of course out in the public too. As we live farther away, the 2 week full boarding and training was a great fit. Ashlind did a great job of sending us daily videos and pictures along with a complete explanation of teaching us how to continue to maintain the use of the E-Collars, use of specific commands, and all the strategies she was instilling in our dogs. At pickup, she did even more intense training in their facility. She helped with making sure my husband and I could demonstrate key commands, how to correct behaviors immediately and of course get comfortable with the correct use of the E-Collar. We saw starting on the 1st day of her training videos a complete 180 of our dogs negative behaviors! It was actually heartwarming to see our dogs transform and become manageable FINALLY! We are so proud of them and so grateful to Ashlind as we continue to train them with the use of the E-Collars in our home, cottage, and out in the community. Mike was an awesome trainer for Franny. In two weeks she was a completely changed dog. She now listens, willfully follows her commands and I have full trust with her off leash. Mike did an excellent job walking us through all of the training, commands, and use of the e-collar. In addition to that, he sent us videos of Franny every day to show us the progress. It was amazing to see how much she had improved after the very first one! You will not regret bringing your dog here for training, we sure don’t!
