My Border Collie, Maisie, did a 2 week board and train with Laurie M. We had been struggling with reactivity and had tried a couple of other training models. While Maisie has only been back home for a week, the changes are remarkable. She seems far more controlled and while this is going to be a forever process (herding instinct is strong with this one) she is willing to listen and redirect even in the midst of the trigger. We have enjoyed some long relaxing walks - even hit the farmers market - and both of us are enjoying these local adventures so much more.
