Off Leash K9 Training Twin Cities

We can not recommend the 2 week board and train program with Don at Off Leash K9 Training of Central Minnesota enough. It was a little unsettling leaving our dog with a stranger for two weeks, but the daily updates and videos allayed our uneasiness pretty quickly. Before training, Oliver was difficult to manage on walks, and the thought of allowing him off leash outside of our yard or a dog park was unfathomable. Now we can take him on trail hikes off leash because he has great recall, he heels when we take him on walks, and he will (usually) stay in place whenever we need him to until we release him. The transformation was pretty remarkable, and the more we continue to work with him, the better he gets. The post training meeting at the end of training was almost as helpful as the training of Oliver, itself. It gave us tools and information to help us continue to train him. He's still an independent-minded puppy with a ton of energy, but now we all (including Oliver) have some tools to help him harness his energy when we need him to do so. I would definitely go back if I had another dog to train.

My puppy Memphis went for the two week board and train with Kent. I was very happy with what she learned. She is a very nervous dog! Everything scares her. Kent took his time and really worked with her on making her feel comfortable. He didn’t just start off training right away they worked into it. If your dog has separation issues or gets really nervous I’d highly recommend bringing your pet to Kent.

If you have a dog and want it to get trained. I highly recommend Off Leash K9. I sent my 6 month old boy Golden doodle to spend 2 weeks with Don. Don did a great job sending daily updates and videos of what he and bailey were working. It looked like bailey had a great time with him and his family and I got back a dog that listens to me and does the best on walks. Bailey will just walk right next to me and no more pulling or jumping around. Thanks for the fantastic service and training.

We live in 30 acres in rural Mn. Our dog was mostly outside, and I did not make enough time for her when she was a pup to really form that bond. Our Morgan went with Don for the two week course. Before leaving it was difficult to leave her around our kids alone as she jumped and nipped constantly trying to play. She never sat still, and having her in the house was completely out of the question. We hadn’t established any sort of rules, or a bond strong enough for her to follow our commands. When we met up for our training session after the two weeks Don was very informative and helped us to be better dog parents! She is a completely different dog. Morgan is able to sit, place, and heel like a champ. She no longer jumps on the kids, and they actually want to be around her! Working with her in the days since she came home has been rewarding instead of a dread. We would never have dreamt we could get her back to a place where she was workable and Don helped us do that. Well worth the money if your looking to undo what lack of time and knowledge about dog training has done for your pup! We look forward to including Morgan in our family activities - even in the house!

Our trainer at off leash canine training was Becca. We have the German Shepherd Lily that would attack the cat, bark out of control, run around the house out of control, not able to be friends with other animals in the house. We did the board and train for two weeks. Lily spent that time with Becca. She is like a new dog. She no longer attacks a cat she just looks at her and leaves. She’s also able to communicate with our other German Shepherd in a mild manner that’s not irritating to him. She no longer runs around the house out of control. She has manners!!! Lily now is part of the pack in the house with us. If it wasn’t for Becca‘s compassion patience and expertise in her field we would not be where we’re at today. I appreciate everything that Becca has done for Lilly and for us. Thank you Becca for your dedication and professionalism in training our dog!! I would highly recommend Becca at off leash canine training!!
