I wanted to bring my golden to a board & train so that she could learn some things and start to have some more structure — I had no idea the life-changing impact it would have on my life. I called over 10 different trainers in the area and chose to move forward with Don. As soon as we walked into the Meet & Greet, I knew immediately that we made the right decision. Over the 3 weeks that Don had Lola, we got updates daily. It was awesome to see her progress and learn new things. Having Lola with Don set her up for success when she came home and continued her training. The training system that he uses is transformative. It's not just a system, it's a language that enables you to communicate with your dog on a whole new level. I've had Lola back for less than a week and our bond now is stronger than it's ever been, she's also more confident and comfortable than she's ever been. There is nothing easy about having a puppy. Though there are resources to make it more manageable and less overwhelming. Finding Off Leash K9 training brought my family and I so much help and so much relief! We brought home our furry, friendly, puppy, filled with endless energy, in July of 2024. Bernie the Bernedoodle. Just two months later I had major surgery, and the bond I had formed with Bernie seemed to grow more distant each day as I was laying in bed recovering, leaving me feeling even more overwhelmed. I recently completed an 8-session behavior modification program with Don, after my dog bit our 8 month old over food, and I couldn’t be more impressed. If you're looking for someone who sugarcoats things or coddles owners, this isn’t the trainer for you. Don is 100% straightforward, blunt, and to the point—and that's exactly what makes him the best at what he does. He doesn’t waste time with fluff and he reminds you that you do infact have an animal in your house, not another baby. He gets straight to the root of the behavior issues and gives you clear, actionable steps to correct them. But here’s the thing: the success of the training is entirely up to you. If you're serious about improving your dog’s behavior, you must follow through with what he teaches. He gives you the tools, but it’s your consistency and effort that make the real difference.
