Ogeechee River Retrievers

Bill has been a great help training my flatcoat, Gunnar, CH Kistryl Feather In My Cap, JH, SH.. We are looking forward to an AKC Hunt test (Master level) next month and more HRC Finished events as well. He also allowse to bring my other dog, Ailsa, GCHB Can. CH Rotherfield Rosdhu Lady JH, AKC and CKC WC when her show life permits! He encourages owner involvement, excels in starting young dogs, and understands every dog's individual differences as well as the differences between breeds.

7 years ago, we saw an ad for a Chesapeake Bay Retriever puppy for sale. We had recently moved to the area and finally had time to train a retriever of our own. So we called up Bill and went down to meet him. Bill was exceptionally kind, professional and enthusiastic! He showed us multiple excellently trained chessies including the Sir and Dam of the pup. That day we brought home Hank. Bill had excellent follow up, called to check on Hank and help with any questions! He invited us back to train and learn from him! Given how amazing Hank is, we just knew we wanted another so when Indy had another litter, we got Jack! Bill not only breeds amazing Chesapeakes, he is an amazing trainer. Not only did he help train ours but helped me have the confidence to run my own dogs in tests by training me too! Bill brought my two best friends into this world and became family in the process. You absolutely cannot go wrong by working with Ogeechee River Retrivers!
