Fantastic experience.. love our puppy. Bill was fantastic in explaining everything and loved the follow up calls. All the dogs were energetic and healthy. Would recommend Ogeechee River Retriever to everyone for chesapeake Bay Retrievers.

Bill Snider, owner of Ogeechee River Retrievers and I have been life long friends and dogs have always been an important part of our friendship. I started raising Brittanys and founded Briarbuster Brittanys and Bill started working with Chesapeake Bay Retrievers about the same time. Bill showed an amazing ability for working with retrievers, and on more than one occasion I strongly encouraged him to go into raising Chessies and training retrievers on a full time basis. This encouragement was due to the dedication I saw in him as he trained his own dogs. Bill took my encouragement and went into retriever training full time and has had overwhelming success in the business of raising Chessies and training retrievers. His bloodline of Chessies is absolutely second to none. One of his female Chessies is currently tied for the #1 top current producing female in HRC! Bill goes to great lengths to ensure that before a dog is chosen for breeding stock, that dog is proven in the Hunt Tests for their hunting and handling abilities, temperament, and has passed the entire line of health clearances. Due to this, you can be assured that you are getting the deck stacked in your favor by choosing one of Bill's puppies.
