Okay so I've been in training with Yvonne for almost a month now, for my dog Onyx who, who I rescued from the shelter a few months ago and is dog reactive. I came feeling broken and dejected and very fearful that I would not be able to bring my dog out into public places, Yvonne was ready to work with me, it has been an amazing help. Since getting training from her, and also completing the very thorough and rigorous homework assignments, me and my dog are now able to go into public places without him completely losing his mind around other dogs. The trick was not teaching my dog to be okay with other dogs, but teaching him to focus on me while in public places. Hands down if you're looking for a trainer in Olympia that is willing to not only take in your dog's behavior, but also the human relationships around your dog in order to come up with a holistic training plan, this is the place to go. I've just started attending the concessions to get my rescue socialized and to challenge even further. It has been amazing!

I have a husky and a Pomeranian mix and as a first time dog owner I was going crazy. Olympic K9 campus helped with my troubles that i was going through with my dogs. Their behavior has changed so much. My dogs would go off barking at other dogs/people, pull me, have no respect towards me, chew everything that they could find, and a very reactive husky. Yvonne helped me overcome my fear/stress that I was feeling at the time because I didn’t know what to do. Now I couldn’t be happier with my lovely puppies. They have become obedient, calm, and know their boundaries all in 9 weeks. I am really grateful for all their help.🩷🩷

I had a wonderful experience working with Yvonne @ Olympic K9 Campus. She spent more than an hour with my 3 year old pug and I during our individual training session. I was looking for non-treat based training techniques to assist with my dog's reactivity around strangers/during walks and to reduce leash pulling. I have been using the strategies we went over during our session for the past week and I have seen incredible progress. My dog is much more responsive to my prompts and stays close by my side on walks. The reactivity reduction will take longer but I now know what to do and how to calm my dog down when he escalates. I will continue to implement what I learned and plan on joining one of Yvonne's group training classes soon! She also provided a comprehensive summary of what we went over after the session. I am so grateful to have these new tools!
