My 1: 1 booking with Yvonne was outstanding on several levels. She is friendly, professional and handled our ten-month old Cairn Terrier with focus and gentleness. After asking us a number of questions about our dog, our experiences in training him and identifying our current concerns, Yvonne demonstrated a series of steps we could practice with, shared the "why" of her suggestions, and explained the consistency of practice necessary to get results. Her deep knowledge of dogs and training dogs was evident and abundant. Our puppy responded to her throughout our hour together. The Olympic K9 Campus is accessible and central to Olympia and Lacey both.

I had my first training session today and it was amazing! I have an untrained, not socialized chihuahua/pug mix who’s a rescue. The owner was patient, humble, understanding and knowledgeable. In a one hour session I got a lot of training tips, and she followed up with an email outlining our session and some homework. I’ll definitely be going back and will participate in her group classes. Her demeanor is calm and observant which helped put me at ease.

I have 2 rescue dogs that were a year old when I got them. They were both very stressed out when they came to me. I have tried 4 of the internet training sites. Non if then helped. I have had dogs all my life, I like poms these 2 make # 7 and 8 for me. These guys have opposite personally s. The male thinks he has to protect the members of the house. So much so even Yvonne was cautious of him. The female dog was shy and hiding from her. Now within a minute or two of Yvonne showing up the male settles down right away and the little girl does not shy away so much. I am seeing progress after 4 weeks. I can't wait to see what they're like in another 2 months. It is work but with rescues I did not expect a miracle immediately, I like Yvonne's approach even though I know I still have a little bit of an uphill battle.
