I love Sarah Anne a d her holistic approach, she is very knowledgeable about dogs and their behaviors when interacting with your family tribe. I was having trou le thinking I would need to rehome my girl. She was nipping at my baby who was leaning to walk. Sarah Anne's suggestions and wonderful virtual learning sessions in person online with her was perfect with a busy baby and gave me the skills I needed and lauguage I needed to better understand my dog's behavior. I am happy to report since our last lesson in July, my Golden doodle has not once tried to nip at my son or our newest emeber to our pack another little baby boy who I recently had. I adopted Molly a young lab mix from Brightside in Redmond. Molly came from a puppy mill near Spokane and had been fostered in two different homes, only one with a positive environment. When I got Molly she was extremely timid and shy. You could tell she had been traumatized. It broke my heart. Sarah-Anne was recommended by my vet and I am so glad he did. I signed up first for her 6 week online class. While I found all of the information helpful, some of it was not a fit for what I was challenged by with Molly. I first talked with Sarah-Anne who agreed we needed to deal with her a little differently. She made some initial suggestions and then I quickly scheduled our first one on one session. I have had a follow up with Sarah-Anne every two months so Molly has time to progress to the next stepSarah-Anne trains us humans as much as offering techniques to deal with our pets. She is caring and knowledgeable and always follows up to determine how your pet is doing. One of the first thing Sarah-Anne told me is I would need to have lots and lots of patience. And while I wish Molly was totally healed ,the fact is there is still work to do. But, she has and continues to make amazing progress and I know that with Sarah-Anne by our side she will continue to relax and be the happy dog she deserves to be. Our family first met Sarah-Anne in 2015 shortly after we had introduced a new dog to our pack. The competition of having a new dog resulted in aggressive behavior at the front door and during mealtimes, some nipping of visitors and leash pulling. After an introductory meeting where Sarah-Anne shared her approach we purchased her Fluent In Canine Private Training Program. We all enjoyed and benefited from our time with Sarah-Anne so much that we have shared our experiences with at least five other families who have then worked with Sarah-Anne. Having a better understanding of how we interact with our four legged friends and in turn how our dogs interact with us has allowed us to better connect and dance through our days. Sarah-Anne, you helped me and my 5 year old dog so much! You immediately tuned in to my dog and helped us forge a new agreement. You helped me understand her inability to settle and exactly how I can assist her. You established for us a better relationship of mutual respect and compassion. Sarah-Anne has been a Godsend! I met her several years ago when she helped me with my two CRAZY labs. I knew she was a very special person immediately when I met her.
