Palange Dog Training

I've only had 1 lesson (going for more), but I found John to be gentle but firm and knowledgeable with his training. He's very informative and will answer any of your concerns. Will go out of the way to help with training. I.e. going to public places to train( where there are other dogs & people if your dog needs help in those areas) going to your home to problem solve, etc. Will post more info if needed.

John trained me and two of my german shepherds. He taught me more than any trainer I have encountered about understanding my dog. I trained with my first shepherd for almost a year with 1-4 sessions a month. The final training session with my first dog was to take the dog off leash in Freeport, ME on a holiday weekend for over an hour. Training the owner is as important as training the dog and John does both. You will never find a more knowledgable and effective trainor

We had a very strong-willed German Shepherd, and had tried many training techniques/trainers without success. We were desperate to keep him from hurting himself or us with his pulling and lunging. Our dog immediately responded to John with attention, focus, and respect- in a way we hadn't seen with anyone else. John was firm, but definitely NOT abusive in any way. We would never have tolerated that. I'm totally baffled by some of the complaints in these reviews. All I can say is, our experience was great. We don't even have our next puppy yet, and we are already planning to go to John for training.
