Palange Dog Training

We took our young dog to John as our last effort to save him (very nice dog but chased bicycles as a result of being hit by a car). John was extraordinary in showing us dog psychology (and human as well) and some very specific and helpful steps and training for both the dog and humans. He was patient, thoughtful, and clearly had extensive knowledge and experience. After one visit (during which John didn't really speak to the dog, just us) we had a "new" dog and after several, we are delighted to have regained our beloved and secure family pet. Have recommended this service to others without hesitation, and with good results.

I agree with the below comment. I wish I would have read reviews before bringing my dog to Palange Dog 'Training'. He was very rough and abusive with my dog, at two points picking him up by just the choke collar, strangling my dog to the point where he almost passed out, after that letting my dog slam down onto the tar. My dog we shocked and fearful, and obviously listened to the 'trainer'. I am not an expert in training, but instilling fear in a dog is not the correct way of doing things. Throughout the entire lesson he talked about how it is NECESSARY to inflict pain on your dog in order for them to listen to you. I am a quiet person, was there alone and did not speak up. I am kicking myself now for allowing someone to treat my dog like he did. I watch a lot of Cesar Millan on NatGeo and he trains dogs with very few touches, I went to this 'trainer' in order to get a little more help with my dog and he did things completely different (WRONG). I regret spending money to watch someone abuse my dog. Once again, DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG TO PALANGE DOG 'TRAINING', you will regret it.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE!!!!!!! The "trainer" is completely abusive in his training. He choked my dog to instill fear in my dog. He says he has all these amazing degrees and he is legit, but while trying to report him to the BBB, his business did not come up. He said he has been doing this for 40 years and the methods he uses are archaic and cruel. He needs to go back to school. While trying to talk and reason with him, he would not let me speak and his abusive personality will not help your dog, it will make him scared. A scared dog is an aggressive dog. I asked for my money back because I learned zero from his lunacy and he refused. If you are having trouble with your dog, get a book written by the Dog whisperer- Cesar Milan. His dogs are perfect and he never needs to choke and abuse them.
