Thank you for the amazing review! Brutus was definitely a special case! I remember you telling me how uncontrollable he was and honestly I didn't think much of it until I met your sweet, incredibly strong, completely feral "puppy" that is 95 lbs and bucks like a bronco! It took 3 of us to get the martingale on him and then he would still spin in circles to drag or throw a person. We then added a slip leads for added control. We trained in a pet friendly store since it was 100 degrees outside. Brutus was definitely a challenging case but I REFUSED to give up on this sweet boy! He can now walk on a leash, knows several commands by word, hang signal and leash command. I am so proud of Brutus for coming around and Rex and his niece for not giving up on this boy. I look forward to many more trainings to get him to where he needs to be so he can be the best and BIGGEST mobility support Service Dog in our region!!!

Briar Rose is one of our very special cases! She comes from a life of hardship and abuse tied to horrendous fighting rings. Her new owners gave her a 2nd chance at life snd Briar got to experience walking on grass and doing things outside of a crate. Although very shy and fearful in the beginning, Briar quickly blossomed into a sweet adorable puppy personality. She loves to be s good girl and is very treat motivated! Briar has major scars on her neck and is healing from burns and abrasions on her chest and underarms. Briar had not had good dog experiences in her 5 months of living. During her training session we introduced her to a martingale collar and took her on a walk. She did AMAZINGLY well! She also got to do a meet and greet with 4 different dogs and she did shockingly well! She learned her commands so quickly and was eager to show off her newly understood commands. She was previously very people skittish but even rolled on her back and exposed her belly and was so happy to receive belly rubs. We look forward to continue working with Briar and watching her grow mentally and emotionally! She is truly a "lucky dog" by finding her new owners since our ultimate goal is to train her to go with her hooman parents on all their out of town adventures.

Thank you LoAnna! We absolutely adore "the twins" Lola and Zona. I remember when they first came and were silly puppies and so full of crazy wild energy! They were not potty trained and just wanted to play and definitely didn't want to train. Zona was the training "star" and Lola refused to "lay down". Little tiny Louie the Beagle finally showed her proper technique and she wanted to be just like him! The girls initially weren't potty trained, leash trained, socialized and jumped and nipped quite a bit. Zona was spicy and bossy and Lola was so shy and passive. Zona has mellowed out so much and plays nice with all the other pups. She still loves being the "training star" of the group! Lola has really come into her own as we trained her separate. She has built confidence and isn't scared to make new puppy friends! Their leash walking has improved so much! Zona was a puller and Lola would literally just lay down behind you and refuse to walk! It was so funny to get pulled from both ends! They are currently working on Public Access Training where Zona shows confidence and Lola is still building hers. Both of them have improved significantly with the jumping on people and nipping. Their recall is so much better as well off leash (especially when distracted). When they started they had very little recall. We also worked on resource guarding as they are from the same litter and the same age so that was a "phase". Now I just need to get to your house and work with them on being friends with chickens and kittys!

We are so happy your sweet pup is living a better life! Your pup was very happy to train and be a good girl. She just needed a little direction. But the true credit goes to you as you are applying the principles and are willing to change so she can have a better life! It is often the most difficult thing to change our own behavior and recognize when the things we are doing are negatively affecting our dogs behavior. Just as eager as your dog was to learn, so were you. You were ready to learn and adapt to the new training. That in itself is 90% of the work!

Thank you we love Bella (St.Bernard puppy) and her adorable personality! When we first met Bella she did belly flops (aka Bella flops) to protest training or listening to anything she didn't want to do. She knew very little commands and was lacking respect for your family. She has now learned sit, down, here, watch, touch, wait, get it, out, easy, me first and the our correcting "annnt". Her last training session we incorporated distraction and learning proper meet and greets with the command "say hello". She worked a LOT on recall and building her stamina for training. She even responded amazing to working with only hand signals and not using words. I think our most exciting moment was incorporating your grandson into the training and watching Bella respond so well to him using hand signals! We look forward to continuing her training and potentially training her in the future to be a Mobility Support Service Dog for you!!
