Charlie has been a true miracle. She has such a special place in our hearts!!! From the moment I met her she was wild (Aussie puppy wild) but had a heart of gold and was so sweet. She used to like to mouth and bite a lot so we taught her "kisses" instead and now she is a kissy monster (the good kind!). She excelled in her training in the beginning but once she started doing training off leash she showed significant issues. Initially we believed she was hormonal (5.5/6 months old) and just easily distracted. Then she stayed overnight several days with us and if her head was turned she would "blatantly ignore" everyone. After a few days we felt something was wrong and we started doing tests on Charlie with various noise objects and she did not respond at all. We realized she was deaf. We let Valerie know and her deafness was confirmed by her veterinarian. This COMPLETELY changed the way we had to train Charlie and with a Mini Educator series e-collar and lots of love and patience she's doing AMAZING again! Ironically her deafness has become a super power because she started mimicking trained Service Dogs for PTSD response and anxiety/panic attack response!! She is now able to task for her mom at home and help her with her own medical issues! We couldn't be more proud of Charlie and she is truly the sunshine in my life!! She is always so full of joy and love and she never let's her handicap get in the way of her living life to its fullest!!

We absolutely adore Chewbacca and I was so incredibly proud if his progress during his session especially when he didn't react when those 2 dogs rushed us off leash and I picked him up to keep him safe!! He acted like such a mean tough guy at first but by the end of the session was just walking around the apartment complex not reacting to anything and as if he never had a reactivity issue! Great job to you both at stepping it up and showing him you are strong leaders that will protect him!! I look forward to doing a Tractor Supply trip with you all in the future and we can work on his dog friendliness!!

We are so proud of Potter! I lovingly gave him a nickname of a "Poopslinging Screaming Banshee" the first day we met. Sweet Potter had serious separation anxiety, lacked confidence and good manners and tried to hang himself while training on a leash. By the end of the first training day he walked much better on a leash and he stopped screaming in his crate. He learned 7 basic commands and was building confidence. By the second training day he was walking with WAY BETTER leash manners. He was checking in, doing his basic commands and working on his fear reactivity with large dogs. The second day he did not "sling poop 3 feet" nor did he scream and howling non-stop in his crate. We are so incredibly proud of his progress and are looking forward to seeing you both when you come back in June! Thank you for trusting us with your sweet boy and "trusting the process" as I know you were nervous in the beginning. You did fantastic at showing Potter you are his leader and protector and making him feel more bonded with you!

Thank you for the wonderful review! Maverick was such a sweet boy and incredibly smart and willing to train! My favorite part of the training session was when I asked you how he did with the command "Down" and your reply was that he doesn't lay down. Then with a small change in technique he laid down on first command! Both you and your girlfriend did a fantastic job at picking up the commands and hand signals and showing leadership and confidence to Maverick while we were training. We look forward to our next training session with him and watching him grow into an amazing well trained pup!

Thank you Mary! We love sweet and shy Tiffany! When Tiffany first came to us she was very skittish and lacking confidence. In just a day of doggy daycare/puppy Tiffany and I worked on some confidence work, leash walking and basic obedience. She was so smart and fun and did incredible learning hand signals and recall. At the end of the day her leash walking was so much better especially out on the busy road where she gets anxious. We can't wait to see her again and continuing building on her training foundation!!
