Paramount Dog Training

My husband and I have a 3 month old goldendoodle who has been quick to learn most of the things we have tried to teach her. However, we were not having any success with training her on stopping her negative behaviors around our three young grandchildren (jumping on them and nipping at their hands and face), as well as with her behavior while on a leash (constantly stopping and trying to run ahead) . A week ago today, Mel came to our house for an hour (we also had two of our grandchildren there) so he could observe her behavior around them. During the hour he did training with our puppy on both of these negative behaviors, there was a marked change in her behavior. With the grandchildren, our biggest concern, she was much calmer and the nipping stopped. We have had them at the house since and using the techniques taught to us by Mel, our puppy has been on her best behavior around them. The same can be said about our walks with her. She is still curious about everything going on around her but with a simple command, we can get her to walk with us at a pace that we choose. The most important part of the training, however, was the information Mel imparted on us regarding why dogs behave as they do and how to modify their behavior to get them to act in a manner that you want them to. We have applied this knowledge to another situation with her with good results. We would highly recommend Mel and Paramount Dog Training to anyone for training their puppy, or even older dogs, and gaining knowledge to apply for future situations.

6 months after our puppy stayed with Audrey for a Board and Train program, our dog is still massively improved and a well-adjusted (and beloved) member of our family. We have three young children, and we were at the end of our ropes trying to discourage our puppy's guarding and stealing. Paramount was our last effort before we had to find another home for him. Audrey was able to lay a good foundation for his behavior, and she gave us the tools we needed to maintain his training. Now we even get compliments on how well-trained he is!

We have a 4 year old Cane Corso Pete who needed to work on basic obedience and reactive/guarding behaviors. Since Covid Pete became very reactive. We chose to work with Mel and sent our dog to 16 day board and train at Paramount. We are very pleased with the training that he received we are now able to control Pete in public and he is very sharp with all basic commands.
