Paws and Possibilities - Maryland

We were referred by friends who had taken their pups to Paws and Possibilities and decided to take our new lab mix Pepper. We had used a big box chain dog store for training on our last dog but our friends' were luckily persuasive enough for us to switch, because we were so very happy with the results. First off, the schedules and locations are very convenient for anyone in the Anne Arundel area. We never had an issue with signing our dog up with a slot (they do limit the number of pets at each session, which is good considering you don't want a dozen dogs going crazy in a confined space). Also, it's a monthly cost but you can sign up for as many classes as you want. That allowed a session to be taken by my wife, and one for me when we have conflicting schedules. They also took our dog Pepper's information, along with personal tidbits or nuances and specifically managed them from day 1 (Pepper was timid and very shy around both new humans and dogs). Thru an 8 week puppy socialization, Pepper went from being nervous around other dogs to wanting to play and meet new friends. Without some additional attention by the trainers, things may not have transitioned so easily. Kim, Lauren and the other trainers know dogs, quite simply. Kim immediately noted Pepper's aversion to eye contact, and gave great suggestions on what to do or how to acclimate her. Pepper is a herding dog, so bringing that instinct down to play nice with friends was a priority, and they gave us tools (training tips, actions, etc) to help. Lauren and the other trainers go through one on one questions in the beginning of each session on what is going well and what needs to be worked on, and speak to the other owners on those things as well (as they said "it might not be a problem for you now, but it may be a problem later as they get older). It's been a huge help. In all, Kim and her team are wonderful and we would highly recommend any local dog owners with new or pets in need of some help/training. Thank you Paws and Possibilities!!

I highly recommend Kim Greco and all of the trainers at Paws and Possibilities. They helped us with our 9 wks old puppy 3 years ago and are now helping us with our newest puppy. Their techniques work and listening to Kim and Lauren is like getting a glimpse into how our dogs' minds work. I have referred friends, family and coworkers to Paws and Possibilities and everyone has had phenomenal results.

We had a great experience with Paws and Possibilities! We sent our very rambunctious goldendoodle puppy to board and train for a week to get help with some behaviors we had been having a hard time correcting ourselves (in spite of regular training with other trainers). While it broke our hearts to have our dog somewhere else for a week, the daily training videos, emails, and the online training course (manners matter) were super helpful and reassured us she was in good hands. After the week was over, Kim and Kara made sure we were set up with all the tools and knowledge we needed to continue to implement the things our puppy had learned. Our puppy came home just as loving and happy as before, but with much better manners and listening skills. She is also much better around guests. It wasn't a quick fix (we never expected it to be, we knew there would be work involved on our part as well), but we are so glad we decided to do board and train. We highly recommend Paws and Possibilities!

Lauren & Paws and Possibilities are some of the greatest things that we have come across in the dog community. We have worked with Lauren for private sessions and groups sessions as well. She is calm, confidant and extremely knowledgeable. She's helped our dog overcome some difficult behaviors and helped us reinforce positive behaviors and basic commands. What's impressed me the most is Lauren's clear interest in keeping up with our dog's improvements. She has made such a different in all of our lives.
