I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding your recent visit with Drago and the way you conducted yourself as a professional trainer and behaviorist. First, I want to clarify that there were not four bite incidents. I would have told you if there was. There was one bite and a mouthing incident. The other involved biting at shoes, which was also explained to you. From the very beginning, it was clear you had already formed the opinion that this dog was aggressive—before even meeting him. That kind of premature judgment is deeply troubling, especially from someone who claims to be experienced in behavior. This dog is not aggressive. He is reactive and under-socialized, and he lacks proper structure and training—something I clearly communicated to you. Yet you did not listen. Instead, you made your own assumptions, disregarded the information provided, and escalated the situation by refusing to let the dog near you. That is not how a trained behaviorist builds trust or reduces reactivity. It was heartbreaking to when I heard how you allow the dog to bark and become distressed while you kept him at a distance. That is not training. That is avoidance. You stressed the dog out by denying him any opportunity to engage in a controlled and guided way. What professional method supports escalating fear and confusion in a dog you’re supposed to be helping? Your assessment included several false claims, and your entire approach was not only ineffective—it was harmful.

Colleen is so knowledgable and kind. She provided us with fantastic support, clear instructions, and multiple options to help curb our rescue pup's resource guarding. Colleen was just so wonderful to work with. I recently had adopted, Dory, a very sweet, but reactive dog and Colleen has turned that all around. She was patient and kind and took the time to help me understand why Dory was reactive and how we can work with her to make her feel more at ease.
