Positive Pets Dog Training

Positive pets and their trainers, as well as all the staff, are great people. They took our puppy and gave him the tools to succeed at being a well trained boy. More than that, they trained me, as the owner, on how to be successful and consistent with the same cues. In a short three month period our pup has been transformed into a good listener. We are looking forward to all the advanced training classes available and exposing him to many different situations. Thank you Positive Pets for all you do.

This is our second time using Positive Pets. Our Olive is a rescue from Texas. She showed some signs of being a little aggressive towards young children. We went through the individual training program with her and received excellent results! She does great around our grandkids now. We also don’t have to worry about her darting away. She’s doing wonderful on the leash and she’s looking forward to starting her group lessons. Donny was a wonderful trainer!

We had a phenomenal experience with Positive Pets. While shopping around for a trainer, Britta scheduled a call with us to discuss packages, options, and goals for our 9 month old Bernese Mountain Dog puppy, Kona. Throughout the process, Brtitta was helpful, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. It was clear from that initial call that the people at Positive Pets know what they are doing and want to be as humane and helpful as possible. Britta asked what we were looking for and provided feedback based on our desires for learning to work with Kona. We ultimately selected a series of 1 on 1 private lessons, and we worked with Donny from then on. Donny was a rockstar. In addition to the benchmarks that Positive Pets holds all of their students to, he always made sure to ask us for any specific things we wanted to work on based on Kona's progress at every lesson. He gave us his phone number in case we needed to contact him outside our regular meeting times, and helped recommend different tools for working with Kona based on her energy level and breed temperament. Since training, Kona is much better behaved around the house, when guests come over, and on walks. We learned so much about how to better communicate and work with her thanks to Donny. All of the staff members were always very friendly and greeted Kona with excitement and affection before each less. I highly recommend Positive Pets to anyone looking to build a better relationship with their dog.

I’ve brought 3 dogs here over the years, Devin is amazing!! Highly recommend doing the stay and train or day training options, your dog will come back well-trained, and not only will they learn a lot, they also love the training experience. All the trainers there are fantastic, they truly prioritize the dogs having a positive and fun experience. They also offer so many cool specialty classes! Joey is currently doing the Novice Rally class and he absolutely loves it. He’s been going to Positive Pets since he was 6 months old, he is now 5 years old, but there is always more to learn! I highly recommend bringing your dog here, especially to be trained by Devin!
