Positive Pets Dog Training

Hi Chizette, We take claims like this very seriously, and we want to address this directly and transparently. According to our records, your dog successfully completed our program and graduated. Throughout your time with us, your training plan was modified to fit your specific requests, and we provided a wide range of training approaches; including multiple activities and communication methods that did not involve remote collar training. It’s also important to clarify that remote collar training is never required in any of our programs. Your dog attended training with us approximately three years ago, and at no point during or after the program did we receive any report of injury, “burn marks,” or concerns of the severity described here. If such a situation had occurred, it would have been immediately addressed and documented. We care deeply about the well-being of every dog we work with. Our goal is always to build confident, engaged, and responsive dogs through clear communication and structured training—not fear or harm. The suggestion that we would ever train a dog “to the point of almost death” is simply not consistent with our standards, practices, or the thousands of successful outcomes we’ve had with clients and their dogs. We are always open to constructive conversations and would have welcomed the opportunity to address any concerns directly at the time. We loved getting to work with Poppy. She came in as a sweet pup with a great foundation, and it was really fun helping shape those manners and build reliability with her.
