Positive Response Dog Training

With a baby on the way my husband and I decided it was time for our first baby to get some of his behavioral issues fixed. I came across Jim browsing local trainers in the area one day and I am SO glad I did. Our dog being a rescue has a lot of anxiety and tends to be very protective of our house and us. We explained what we were looking for to Jim and set up a day for him to come to our house. When he came to our house and met our pup his words were "we can fix this is one day." I believed him and knew he meant what he said. You can tell how much Jim cares about not only making sure you're happy as dog owners but more importantly that your dog is happy and comfortable. We trusted him whole heartedly and are so glad we did! Our dog Elton, is a new dog. He showed amazing progress in not even 24 hours. We cannot recommend Jim and Positive Response Dog Training ENOUGH!

After exploring a couple of different training options, my girlfriend and I came across Positive Response. Jim answered right away. We were very impressed with his approach and his background, so we ended up booking with Jim that same day. Just 3 weeks later, we are so impressed with how our Bernedoodle puppy (Teddy) has progressed under Jim’s program. Walking Ted is easy and fun again, and we no longer have to worry about Ted being “too friendly” at other peoples houses or in public. Jim’s practical and tailored approach to Ted’s training made us very comfortable, but most importantly worked wonders on our little guy. I submitted an inquiry on the website and received a call from Jim within an hour. We thoroughly discussed the behavioral issues we were having with our mini goldendoodle (Sullivan). Jim was able to come to our house and teach my husband and I the proper way to use an e-collar. He even brought his own dog to help with training. After spending the morning with us, we felt confident that Sullivan’s behavior would get better and he’s been doing really well! Jim checks in with us often.
