Positive Response Dog Training

I adopted my dog from a shelter a year ago. He is sweet but has some behavioral issues that I had been unable to work out on my own. After sending Jim an email I received a call almost immediately. He came in and was very thorough with the training, running through several different scenarios that we had been having problems with. Since then we have been keeping up with the training in the ways Jim showed and the change has been amazing, and this is just after a couple days. Highly recommend!!

We recently reached out to Jim to help us with our 1 year old dog JJ. JJ is great dog, but due to his size and some bad manners (jumping on guests, table surfing, stealing/ chewing toys, etc) we started researching local trainers and eventually asked Jim for his help. I am so glad we did. Not only was he quick to respond, but was able to work with our boy pretty quickly. We went over some things we wanted to work on with JJ, and Jim assured us these were all manageable behaviors. Along with some of JJ’s bad manners, I wanted to also work on leash skills and his recall when he is off leash. To say we are impressed would be an understatement. We haven’t had to use any of the 3 gates in our house for a couple days now, when we call out a command, come, drop it, off, etc. JJ’s response is almost immediate. JJ was very nervous meeting Jim the first time, but he took his time with him and allowed JJ time to warm up to him. This was by far the best decision we have made for our pup and family. We are incredibly thankful for Jim’s expertise and JJ has officially earned the title of the best dog ever! If you are looking for help with your furry family member, look no further!
