My son greatly enjoyed the dog training camp. Although we don’t have a dog, AZPowerPaws provided a dog so he could participate. My son appreciated the varied experiences due to rotating work with all of the dogs. He even enjoyed the activities not involving direct dog handling. He would love to do another session. We appreciated the mask wearing policy since it keeps the kids too young to receive a COVID-19 vaccine from worrying whether people are vaccinated or maskless while unvaccinated. I imagine AZPowerPaws’ immunocompromised clients probably have similar concerns. It’s also easier for the kids to remember to wear their masks when others around them are wearing them.

My daughters just finished their second session of summer camp with AZPowerPaws. They had a wonderful time and learned so much. Cindy and Mary do a great job planning activities, crafts and games. My girls were never bored. They both really enjoyed the dog training lessons taught by Kwanho. He is very patient with the dogs and the kids really learned how to be patient with the dogs too. Our 9 year old Chiweenie loved going to camp with them. It is really cool how the kids get to train other dogs and get comfortable working with different dogs. They learned tons of information about therapy dogs and how people with different disabilities can benefit from having a therapy dog. They also learned invaluable lessons on how to be great pet owners. This is a great camp for all kids, regardless if they own a dog.
