Practical Obedience LLC - Custom Dog Training

Our 11 month old dog did Level 2 Group Training. This was our first group training and I was very nervous at first. As a puppy/teenager our dog was very easily distracted but Amy and Maggie were very reassuring and helpful. Everything was a learning experience and every 'mistake' was talked about and correcting suggestions were given. We definitely will be signing up for more classes in the future.

We enrolled our puppy, Wynne, in training and couldn't be happier with the experience. The trainers are highly qualified and genuinely care about every puppy in their program, treating them as if they were their own. What sets this training apart is that it goes far beyond basic obedience. The focus on socialization, life skills, and confidence-building has helped Wynne grow into a happy, well-adjusted puppy. The one-on-one coaching for both puppy and human made a huge difference, ensuring we understood how to continue reinforcing good behaviors at home. The training is never cookie-cutter. The trainers take the time to understand each puppy's unique personality and needs, creating a customized approach that works. Wynne absolutely loves going to school and gets excited every time we arrive. The facility is always clean, safe, and fun, creating a positive learning environment for both puppies and their owners. We have seen a tremendous increase in Wynne's confidence and overall development. We highly recommend this program to anyone looking for exceptional puppy training.

When our dog Otis began showing increased reactivity toward other dogs on walks, and eventually people too, we knew we needed help. He’s a very sweet dog, but his behavior made walks stressful and overwhelming, especially with our other two dogs. We had great success with Practical Obedience in the past, so we reached out again. Working with Kailey was a highly valuable experience. She didn’t just train Otis, she trained us. We were involved every step of the way and left with practical tools and the confidence to continue the work at home. She was attentive, thorough and took the time to understand our concerns and answer every question. We also appreciated the Reactive Rover Group session with Maggie beforehand, which gave us a strong foundation going into training. We’ve since returned for help reintroducing Otis to a family dog who visits, and again, Kailey gave us clear, effective strategies that made an immediate difference.
