Puptagon

I went to Puptagon today, along with the eleven year old girl I babysit, to see if this business would be interested in donating to the local animal rescue organization we both volunteer for. The eleven year old gave her pitch for the upcoming fundraiser, and to my surprise, the blonde woman at the front desk responded by callously critiquing the child’s presentation, accusing her of being unprepared and questioning her intentions. I highly advise any proponent of animal rescue—or anyone who desires to be treated with decency and respect— steer clear of “Puptagon.” I could not imagine leaving my dog in the hands of the people at this business. If you’re looking for dog training in the area, I recommend (from experience) Capital Dog Training Club or Bark Busters.

Puptagon just recently opened, but the trainers all have a lot of professional experience with training dogs and in understanding dog psychology. I think learned more in a few minutes talking with the manager about what motivates dogs and how they think than I ever knew beforehand. They are very helpful if you have a dog you love that has some issues that you'd like to correct but aren't sure how. Also they know a lot about how to train puppies, when we get our next puppy we'll definitely be bringing it there for training classes.
