Our 2 year old dog “fence fights” badly with the dogs behind us. He is so focused he will not respond to us. We have tried shock
collars and citronella collars, both of which I hate. Could you help?

My experience with PDK9 was amazing. I started only looking for a puppy class and socialization. I contacted them and did a package for a puppy consult (1 hour) and two classes where socialization with other puppies was a part. During my consult I was extremely impressed with one of Margaret’s dogs behavior in comparison to my little nut job that I signed up for a 3 day residency stay with a six week group training one hour a week. This was the best decision I have ever made for my dog. The puppy classes were fun, but the real difference came after her stay. There was an immediate change in her after 3 days and she was much calmer. The class was great to work through any issues as the came up. We did a second time to work on her ability to handle distractions. I also did a second board and train upgrade to an e-collar so she would become more reliable on her recall. I was worried about an ecollar initially, but Margaret uses it in such a positive way with constantly treating when giving a command with it on. Ruby actually gets excited when I get it out for her to wear. She also responds at such a low levers I could not feel it at all when I held it and buzzed myself. If you aren’t comfortable and PDK9 will really work with you to find the best option or explain how their techniques work and do not hurt your dog at all. Ruby loves Margaret and going back to PDK9 for socials regularly. We hope to see you there!

Margaret actually started off my training in my own journey to become a professional dog trainer. That was about 5 years ago. She has continued to learns and broaden her skills with seminars and workshops. I would gladly send any dog to Purpose Driven K9.

Margaret is amazing!!! She is extremely knowledgeable and can do amazing things with even the most disobedient dogs (mine was one of them!!). Don’t pay attention to the complainer who left one star! There are people out there who will never be pleased!

I have had 2 dogs trained by Margaret & the PDK9 team, and I recently attended her puppy classes with my third. Cannot recommend enough. I was fascinated by everything I learned in the puppy classes! So much good information! I will never see another trainer, thank you PDK9!
