Purpose Driven K9 Dog Training

Purpose Driven K9 is the BOMB!! Our dog was high energy, anxious & highly leash reactive towards dogs. After working with two different trainers with no results, we thought there was no hope to improve our dog’s behaviors - until we found Margaret & Tim. Gretel is a new dog!! We opted to not board & train and complete individual training & group sessions. It has changed our lives. Where we once avoided taking Gretel out, she now goes pretty much everywhere with us. The group training, socials, and confidence classes have helped her more than we could ever have hoped. Knowing that we will always have access to Margaret & Tim and their training options allow us to keep Gretel’s skills & our skills sharp. They are positive, caring & supportive. They always have the dog’s best interest as the main focus of their training.. Their training has changed our lives. We HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!!

Whoever gave the 1 star review after only doing the evaluation missed out! Margaret and Tim are great trainers. I brought in my 5.5 year old husky who had only been to a puppy class ages ago. He did not know how to act in public, act around people and was not the best listener. He would always get super hyper and jump on people. As the saying goes "You cant teach an old dog new tricks". Well Wrigley proved that saying is false because he learned a lot! Glad I decided to do the 2 week board and train. When I got Wrigley back, he was a whole new dog. I can now take him places, and out in to public without being embarrassed by his bad behavior. We just finished the 6 week group training classes and those helped tremendously. He is 100% a brand new dog. I wish I would have done this ages ago. I am looking forward to continuing bringing him to the dog socials on Saturdays as its a good environment for him to continue his skills. THANK YOU PURPOSE DRIVEN K9! You guys rock.

Margaret and Tim are amazing!! Margaret trained my German Shepherd Cash a few years back. He was a handful so I took him in for a full 2 week stay. She gave me back a completely obedience trained dog and also taught me the skills to keep working with him. I can’t express enough how important this was to having a great life with my best fur friend! Margaret and Tim are the best and there’s nowhere else I’d ever take my pup! Best money I’ve ever spent!

Our dog has done two separate training programs and follow up classes at Purpose Driven; we were absolutely thrilled with the results. Getting our dog to walk well off leash was something we never could have taught her to do on our own. Our friends and neighbors stop us and ask about our “good” dog and we send them all to Margaret. We have also used the boarding facilities and the kennels are clean and the staff is amazing! Wish they took children.

Margaret started training my lab as a puppy and she was incredible. She used all kinds of training techniques. She trained him to stop eating my shoes when he was very young. She then moved on to on-leash commands. I love how she trains the human as well as the dog. I had no idea how little I knew until I started working with her. Eventually we moved to off-leash commands at my request and now he can roam the park or go for a run with me and I don't have to worry he will not respond. I HIGHLY recommend Margaret. She's brilliant and will teach you and your pup life long skills!
