Atlas did the 30-day adult board and train program (starting when he was 8 months old). When he left he was very unruly and only knew how to sit. After working with Felicia, he came back knowing how to sit, down, come, place, heel, jump obstacles, walk on leash (even next to a stroller!), and more. She was a pleasure to work with and tailored the program to our needs for Atlas. She also managed to resolve some of his eating issues while working with him and taught him some basic manners like not jumping on new people. She kept us updated with periodic pictures and messages about his progress. She invited us to visit him throughout the program to work on his skills with him and see how he was doing. When he came home, we were a bit nervous about how well his training would transfer over to an environment where he had not used those skills, but he did incredibly well. We credit this to the excellent training and the practice session we had with him when we picked him up. The session informative and really taught us how to work with him. We had a two week follow up session with Felicia, and she advised us on tips to maintain his training and how to address some new behaviors we were having a bit of trouble with. The service was professional and well done. We would 100% recommend this program and Felicia as a trainer to anyone looking to train their dog in both on and off leash skills.

Kara, is the best trainer, EVER! Our obedience training was so informative and interactive. I am positive it provided an awesome behavioral foundation for my GSD puppy, Roman. Kara’s brilliance, versatility, and firm guidance earned my puppy’s love/respect, as well as, my own. Although Roman is entering into his rebellious teenager phase (7 months), I am confident with CONSISTENT utilization of the slew of tools and fun tricks Kara has taught me; I can successfully outsmart, entertain, tire-out, understand and manage my puppy’s behavior! We are still a work in progress, but I believe I am well-prepared for the journey. Thank you Kara & QK9C!

I could not rave more about the results we received! All thanks to our trainer Kara who helped us with our two energetic pups (8 month German Wire-haired pointer & 8 month Vizsla). We did board and train for both and were amazed with the updates we constantly received during their training and the results. PLUS Kara was so open to communication that the moment I remembered something I wanted to implement in their training she quickly included it. We are so glad that we now feel equipped with the freedom and confidence we have to take our boys out in public, off leash ,and more.
